MiDAS – Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme

Community transport drivers and passenger assistants are being encouraged to take part in MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) training — the recognised gold standard for community transport drivers. The scheme helps ensure journeys are safe, legal and comfortable for all passengers, while giving drivers and passenger assistants the skills and knowledge needed to support accessible and inclusive travel.

MIDAS training is promoted by the Community Transport Association and recommended across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area for community minibus drivers. Further information and training contacts can be found in the attached leaflet.
